Big Girl PJs

Christina is coming up on 11 months.  Yesterday, I finally put away some of her 6 month clothes and washed some of her 12 month clothes.  She wore these 12 month PJs to bed last night.  This is her first pair of two-piece pajamas.  They are a little big but she sure did look cute.

Uh oh, I see something I need.
Kleenex box!!

Issuing a warning to protect her Kleenex box.
This started as a kiss, I think, but ended with a bow in D's mouth.

She gets lots of hugs and tolerates them pretty well.
She always wants to touch the ipad...
Which drives poor Dominic crazy.
But he's nice about giving her turns every so often.

D likes to hover over her and crawl with her. He usually ends up kind of pushing her into the floor, but it seems to amuse her.

Dominic's 3rd Birthday Weekend

Dominic turned three years old on Monday and we kind of celebrated all weekend.

Friday brought the arrival of Ita from El Paso and Josh and Emmy from North Dakota.  Saturday, everyone came over and we had Dominic's requested dinner: pizza and egg rolls.

Dominic received this Cozy Truck from Ita.  Migs was a real trooper putting this thing together.
Dominic LOVES this thing.
On Sunday, many of us went to ride Sophie the train in Cedar Park.  I didn't get any good pics of Sophie.  The ride lasted about 15 minutes and covered a little over a mile.  After nap, an even smaller group of us went to Camp Mabry to look at jeeps and planes and stuff.

Playing with the Mega Blocks construction set from Tio Migs.
Monday the kids went to school for a couple of hours and then their Aunts and Uncle picked them up early.  Dominic helped make his birthday cake, and then went shopping with Aunt Emmy and Uncle Josh.  He convinced them to buy him a huge semi truck (not pictured).  It didn't sound like he had to try very hard.

She's getting good at the belly crawl! Aka army crawl.
Answering the age question.

He requested a marshmallow cake. Thank you to Steffi for helping with the design!

Opening the ValueTales book from Mama and Dada.  He went on to name all the kids on the cover, and we read about Harriet Tubman before bed that night.

Marcos ordered him some little golf clubs!

He also got a train set, which seems to be a big hit.
And just in case you can't get enough, here is a video of the happy birthday song.  We think we would have sung louder if it wasn't being recorded. And Robin was sleeping too.
