Halloween 2014

Warning: there are a lot of pictures.  But it's a lot faster for me to get a post up if I don't have to think too much about which ones to include.  The day went really well.  Dominic cried when we made him wear his costume to school, but he got over it when he saw all his friends' costumes.  He was totally into putting it on in the evening.  Christy resisted a little, but it was nothing a jelly bean bribe couldn't handle.  After we got it on she was totally fine - her hat and wings didn't even bother her.  We probably went to 12 to 15 houses trick-or-treating and they both were totally fine with it.  My favorite was the first house.  The young lady at the door was trying to open the door and keep the barking dog back and turned around and shouted, "MOM, GET THE CANDY!" to which Christy shouted, "MOM, GET THE CANDY!"  She's at the age of repeating everything.

They are kind of inseparable.

I think that's a sour patch kids reaction.
Christy was very interested in the candy. I don't think she'd ever been allowed to touch so much candy.

She was only allowed to eat one thing, but she kept her bucket close by.

The End! Happy Halloween!

Pumpkin Patch 2014

I have officially given up on going back in time to blog about the things I mentioned in a previous post.  Here are some picture from our pumpkin patch visit yesterday. We went to St. Richard's in Round Rock this year, mostly because it was closer to the mechanic that was doing my oil change.

Did you notice Christy's busted lip?  Poor girl fell at school on Friday.  In other news, we finalized Dominic's Halloween costume.  He surprised us by choosing a football player outfit at Walmart this morning.  Granted, the selection was not great.  We could not find a single Batman which is what he wanted.  There were a ton of Captain America costumes in his size, but he wouldn't hear of it.  Christy will be a bumble bee as this may be the last year I get to pick. :)
