Siblings

I love this video, which I just took yesterday.  Dominic fell off the couch at the end, but he wasn't hurt.  Thank goodness.

Sea World and Chayrez Visit

We took a Friday off and went to Sea World on May 30.  We ended up buying season passes because it was hardly more expensive than a single day pass.  That allowed us to stay a reasonable 4+ hours and not feel too guilty.  Dominic and Christy had fun.  They both loved playing in the splash pads the best.

The order of events was basically: check out some rides, climb around on the playground, eat lunch, swim in the splash pad, change to dry clothes, walk around while Christy fell asleep, watch the water skiing show, see the penguin encounter, eat frozen lemonade, back into bathing suits for more splash pad.  The pictures below may be out of order because some were on my phone and some the camera.
Dominic was barely tall enough for his first roller coaster ride. He was not scared at all!

In line for the merry-go-round.

The "baby" splash pad was much less crowded than the bigger one, and luckily, they both loved it.

Hugging.

This is the entrance to the big kid splash pad - it was pretty busy.
We saw one show, which had water skiers doing jumps and flips. Dominic enjoyed it! Christy was napping in the stroller.

Selfie. He was pretty happy about the frozen lemonade we were sharing.

I'm including this shot to show the park was not too crowded.
Marcos gave her snack when she woke up.

Sea World is less than two hours from our house, but after four hours in the 90+ degree weather, we were glad we used Marcos' Hilton points to stay in a hotel right by the park.  Dominic and Christy had fun swimming at the hotel pool Friday evening.  We ate dinner at the hotel restaurant and Dominic was so tired he could barely keep his eyes open during dinner.  He was excited about sleeping on the fold-out couch in our room and passed out in minutes.

We swam again Saturday morning before we headed home.  A few hours after getting home, Steffi and Robin arrived for a visit.
