Halloween 2013

Here are some pictures of our Halloween night.  Dominic did not wear his costume for long and only trick-or-treated at two houses. He got lucky and one of the two houses gave him a big bag of treats.  Then he just wanted to hang out in our front yard and shout to passers-by that we had candy.  "HEY, COME OVER HERE GUYS!" Even after we went inside, he was Mr. Hospitality. He rushed to the door when the door bell rang, helped put candy in kids' bags, and wished everyone a Happy Halloween.  At 364 days old, this was Christie's first Halloween.  She enjoyed looking at all the people but was pretty tired from staying up later than usual.  I can't believe my baby is ONE tomorrow!

Uncle Robert and Pumpkin Patches 2013

Uncle Robert's Visit 10/19-10/22
Robert paid us a visit. He was in Texas to attend a one-day class at UTSA.  We hung out, made him a birthday cake, and took xylophone lessons. It was great to see him. He brings out the silly in Dominic.

First Pumpkin Patch 10/20
Dominic, Christie and I met Ms. Payton Weiss and her mother at a huge pumpkin patch extravaganza.  In addition to pumpkins, they had a petting zoo, food trailers, pony rides, and at least 4 bouncy houses.

Second Pumpkin Patch 10/26
Our second pumpkin patch was back at our usual spot, St. John's United Methodist Church. It was a much smaller affair (see 2012 and 2011). We met Steffi and baby Robin there.  I am not posting any pictures of them because Robin was in Halloween costume and I don't feel it's my place to reveal it. They both looked very cute!
