Here are our latest family pics, taken at the Arboretum last Saturday. My biggest surprise when I saw these pictures was that Christy now has a fake smile! If you saw her last school pictures, you understand where I'm coming from. It might have something to do with the fact that her father might have bribed her with promises of a treat at the Amy's Ice Cream next door. That just might have a little bit to do with it. Actually, before that even came up they were both being very good and cooperative. The whole shoot was only about 20 minutes long!
In other news, Dominic turned 5, the summer ended, and I have two new nieces! Phew, I'm glad I'm all caught up now. Also, we'll be heading up to the State Fair this weekend. My goal is to accomplish a few things besides eating: show Christy the horses (possible pony ride?) and go on a ride and/or play games with Dominic. I really hope we can squeeze those in between all the eating. It should be our usual 10:2 adult to kid ratio, so no excuses!!! (Hey, if the Chayrez' make it out in a future year, that ratio is going places)!
