Happy Easter (Belated)

I went to Nashville on Monday for work, and failed to get any Easter pics up before I left.  Saturday before Easter, there was a neighborhood party at the park.  Dominic slept through the egg hunt in his morning nap, which was good since we didn't donate any candy-filled eggs to the event planners.  He was up in time to get pictures with the Easter bunny:

Hilarious.
You can see why we had to join the picture.

Here are some pictures I took for fun while we were at the park:

Sunday morning Marcos made gingerbread pancakes and Dominic liked them.  I guess he will only have oatmeal for breakfast 365 days this year and not 366.  After breakfast, he had a basket waiting for him in the living room, and he was not shy about checking out his loot.

Waiting for pancakes.
The loot.

Finally, his own box of crayons!

I like his finger in this one.
As you can see, he cracked every egg and dumped his jelly beans on the floor.
This is before Marcos showed him jelly beans are edible.

This is after.
All in all, a fun and relaxing day. Marcos made ham and Dominic liked that too.  He even took a bite of Marcos' sushi the other day. It's nice he's starting to branch out on what he'll eat.  I hope everyone had a nice Easter too!

  1. Finally!
Love the before and after jelly bean ones!
And at the park - so cute. Trying to get away from that crazy bunny, who can blame him?
I only blame him for looking like he's three or four years old - slow down, bud!

  2. This is a great post! I feel there is a lot going on.
That easter bunny doesn't look very charismatic. He seems to be clasping his hands in his lap unhappily. Did he speak at all? Anyway, very cute pics of Dominic. I also like the before and after pics and the finger with the crayon box. It's always nice to see you and Marcos in pictures as well.
