State Fair

We made a trip up to Dallas and the state fair on 10/5 and a great time was had by all.  Big thanks to the Arazoza's for putting us up - we are not the most unobtrusive house guests.  Tia Judi and The Source's house IS Dallas to our boy, much like YiaYia's house is San Diego.  It's always great to spend time with the family and it's nice to occasionally expose Dominic to a GIANT dog, just to keep his cynophobia in check.  He was doing really well by the third day!

Our activities at the fair included: eating, perusing homemade items, lying on mattresses, eating, testing massage chairs, eating, climbing in automobiles at the auto show, and lying on more mattresses.  Did I mention that we ate? Here are the foods/drinks I tasted: chicken fried bacon, churro, fried balogna sandwich, giant pretzel, fried pumpkin pie, pepperoni pizza, cotton candy, lemonade, iced tea, and strawberry margarita. 

Surprisingly, it was really cold! A cold front came in that morning.  It was overcast and misty/rainy.  We think it hit the 50s.  Our party included: Tia Judi, The Source, Michelle, Andy, Tony, Migs, Marcos, Myself, Dominic, and Christie.  We missed having Ita there this year!
