Bluebonnets 2014

We took these bluebonnet pics a few weeks ago at Brushy Creek Lake Park.  This is the same location we went to last year, but this time there were no bluebonnets along the lake. It looked like the area had been mowed recently.  We did find a good-sized patch though.  I think we were pretty early in the season so they weren't very tall yet.

There are not very many pictures of Dominic in this set because we had a wardrobe malfunction.  After snapping the first few pictures, of course he informed me that he needed to go to the bathroom.  I took him over to some bushes to do his business (a new experience for him) and somehow we ended with huge wet spots on his khaki shorts. After that the poor boy hung out in his underwear until we went back to the car and left the park.

It looks like Christie is pushing him away "My baby!"

Christie interprets "Be gentle" as an instruction to aggressively pat babies/kids on the head. With the cat, it's usually the side or belly.

 

I would have got these up a lot sooner, but our old laptop recently died.  We bought a new one from Best Buy and it took them about six days to load the programs and recover our old files. Not very impressive, Geek Squad.
